Teal Garden Bundle Monster Stamping

I got my first Bundle Monster plates! I tried out a few different things, but I settled on this beautiful teal-based mani. The base polish is Orly Sapphire Silk, and I stamped over it in Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Mint Sprint. I used two images both off of BM 225. I used the "curly bush" image for all my nails except the ring fingers, which I used the inverted flower-y image on. I LOVE the way this turned out!

<3, so pretty. I'm working on growing my nails out and taking better care of my cuticles. These are about the shortest I'm okay with, but hopefully in the future they will be a bit longer. Must try more Konad! I just got 8 Barielle polishes 0.0 :o, so there are probably some swatches to come! *drool*

Crackle Galore!

Wowsers! Today I'm going crackle crazy and showing you all the pictures of my manis with crackle polish I've done. (I also have China Glaze Fault line and Black Mesh, so if you'd like to see them, just ask)

First though, I thought I'd mention I've added my wishlist (just for me to keep track of future purchases:P) and a swap list

Coolio, so this first one was my first ever crackle mani. It is China Glaze Crushed Candy over Morbid (Hot Topic) Purple Ice. I don't know if it's just the crowd I hang around, but more than one person told me it looks like dinosaur eggs. xD
This next one is very interesting. For my mani on the bottom, I used China Glaze Crushed Candy again over Sinful Colors Secret Admirer (I Adore Secret Admirer! It's a black two coater PACKED with silver micro glitter, so it gives it enough light that it looks grey/silver rather than black. A beauty!) The lovely guest hand atop mine is a good friend wearing Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Mint Sprint topped with China Glaze Crushed Candy. Both are topped with CND super shiney. If anyone can explain why Crushed Candy looks turquoise on her and sky blue on me, please let me know!
Aaaand last but not least, this is Sinful Colors Secret Admirer topped with Sephora by OPI Blasted Silver. I do have to say, I am liking how the China Glazed crackled a little more than this one...which is good news for my wallet. :P Though, the difference could just be due to metallic vs. non-metallic crackles. I am going to figure out how to take better pictures :/ because this one really deserved better... The combo of the dark grey glitter and  foily silver crackle was pretty dazzling. ;)

So, that's my crackalicious post for ya. I'll be coming up with more color combos i the future, but I'm a little crackled out at the moment, haha.
What am I posting about next, you say? Did someone say Konad?

Hello, and welcome to my little corner of the internet!

Why hello, internet people. I am a 20 year old college student who has developed a passion for nails. Well...not nails themselves, but the pretty things we put on them. :) How did this start for me? Well...I guess I've always been into beauty stuff, and I have a pretty artistic background, so it's only natural that something combining the two would catch my interest. I discovered water marbling, which sent me off into the dogpile of beautiful people and nails on YouTube. From there, I discovered nail blogs, and my obsession's been growing ever since.

I really don't expect anyone to follow me or care about my page. :P Mainly, I just want a place to post pictures of my manicures, swatches of my own polishes, and share my thoughts on all things nails. I'm also pretty crafty, and my most recent hobby has been beading, so if the 0 people who read this don't mind, I might post some things I make too. ;) P.S. Forgive me as I'm still figuring out how to not hold my hand awkwardly and other logistics. Also, I'm using my iPhone as a camera...awesome quality, I know.

I'll start with a few recent NOTDs...

So, I discovered water marbling! This is Color Club Twggie and Pucci-Licious from the Poptastic collection marbled over WnW French White Creme. These Color Club polishes work fantastically for marbling (and were super cheap!). I love that this mani was a bold color combo, yet the colors themselves were a tad muted instead of neon. This was fun to wear, and got a few compliments as well :)

*awkward hand position*

So... If you read this, I just want to say thanks, and I hope you enjoyed it! (Or at least were entertained :P)

If anyone has questions, I'd be thrilled to answer them.
